Yes. iPhone 18 series and iPhone 17 series cases are cross-compatible, but there are minor differences in fit between the two generations.
Because the iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 series differ slightly in dimensions, a case designed for one generation may not fit the other quite as precisely. For example, the camera plateau on the iPhone 18 series is a fraction of a millimeter taller than on the iPhone 17 series. Our iPhone 18 cases are designed around that change, while our iPhone 17 cases are not. The differences are minor, but depending on the case and model, you may notice a slight variation in fit.
In addition, swappable buttons should not be mixed between generations. Because the buttons and cases are manufactured to very tight tolerances, buttons designed for iPhone 17 series cases may not operate properly in iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max cases, and vice versa. When purchasing additional buttons, please choose the version made for your specific case generation.

No, Synthesis is made from a rigid polycarbonate back and ShockLite™, our proprietary flexible polymer. Polycarbonate does not "yellow" the way clear TPU cases might.
Yellowing in clear cases usually comes down to the material itself. Standard TPU is soft and porous, and reacts with UV exposure and oils from everyday handling, which causes that telltale amber tint over time. Polycarbonate is a denser, more chemically stable material, so it resists that kind of UV degradation and holds its clarity far longer. We designed Synthesis with this in mind.
Synthesis is designed for outstanding grip without sacrificing comfort. Its distinctive dot matrix pattern features over 300 subtly raised, rounded micro-dots along the perimeter for added traction, while the lightly textured, frosted back shell further enhances grip. The result is a secure, comfortable feel in hand.
All three offer excellent protection, but each has a distinct feel and design.
